pLenti CMVTRE3G Series

These vectors are compatible with Tet-On 3G cell lines (Clontech). In the absence of the reverse tetracycline transactivator 3G (rtTA3G), they should not show any expression. Cell lines can be made Tet-On 3G by using the pLenti CMV rtTA3G Blast plasmid (not released yet) or any other vector expressing the rtTA3G protein. The pLenti CMV rtTA3G Blast vector was made by Dominic Esposito (SAIC-Frederick).

NOTE: If the vector pLenti CMV rtTA3G Blast was used to make the Tet-On cell line, this vector can not be selected for because the cell line will be already resistant to blasticidin. The rtTA3G element should be expressed under a different drug selection.
